Two and A Half to Three Years

30 months

You have done so good with all the traveling we have done.

You are wearing big boy underwear all the time except for bedtime. You have had a few accidents, but overall, you are doing great!

You don't really care for shrimp.

You were so excited to go back to church.

You are really resisting nap time.

You still ask, 'why' about everything.

You have really missed daddy while he is at work.

You love to face time on my phone.

Your imagination is really starting to blossom .

You have really been putting your fingers in your mouth..I wonder if you are getting some molars?

You have started saying, "I can't do it" -so we have been going over your Bible verse 'I can do all things through Christ.'

'ABC'- you learned that one all on your own

Some funny sayings you have said.

"That is so weird."

"Bye baby."

31 months.

You love to help mommy glue things.

You are also having a hard time staying in your bed. Mommy and daddy decided that if you got out of bed you would get one of your animals taken away for each time you got out of bed. You would have to stay in bed to earn one of them back. You have done great earning your animals back.

You say the funnest things sometimes and daddy and I just laugh and laugh.

You are getting so big. You can go to the pantry, pick out your snack, get a cup, pour your snack into your cup (without spilling, I might add) and then put the snack back into the pantry all by yourself.

You love working your puzzles, building roads with your blocks, reading your books.

You have a couple of books where you have to find certain things and you love to look for them.

You love getting your Highlights magazine in the mail.

You love playing hide and seek in the dark with your flashlight.

One day, daddy was leaving to go to work and you said, ' Bye babe. Have a good day.'

You were playing with daddy and you were saying, 'daddy, here is your nose, your eyes, your mouth, your hair, your scruffy.' We were like what is scruffy. Then we figured out that you were talking about daddy's face when he doesn't shave for a couple of days.

You love drinking your superhero green smoothies..with spinach in them.

You really miss daddy since he has had to go into the office some for work.

You are wearing underwear all the time now. At church, at nap time, bedtime and when we travel. You are doing great.

'Who Did Swallow Jonah?'
Who did, who did, who did, who did,
Who did swallow Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo,
Who did, who did, who did, who did,
Who did swallow Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo,
Who did, who did, who did, who did,
Who did swallow Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo,
Who did swallow Jonah,
Who did swallow Jonah,
Who did swallow Jonah down?

Whale did, whale did, whale did, whale did,

Whale did swallow Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo,
Whale did, whale did, whale did, whale did,
Whale did swallow Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo,
Whale did, whale did, whale did, whale did,
