First dental visit

Today, Carson had his first dental visit. He was a little apprehensive at first, but he did great.
I was very impressed with the dentist office. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Dr. Kitchens talked with us in his office first and explained that they wanted this to be a very positive experience and they would only do what Carson was comfortable with.

Here he is sitting in the big chair. He thought it was pretty cool that it laid all the way back and that he could watch the tv that was on the ceiling.

He did so great. He opened his mouth big and wide and let them clean and everything. He thought their toothbrush tickled and he liked it when they would squirt water in his mouth. He thought their suction tool was cool too.

One cool dude wearing sunglasses.

He even let them take X-rays. You can already see his adult teeth... Crazy. Glad they don't loose their baby teeth until about age 6.

Dr. Kitchens said his teeth looked healthy. No cavities!!! Yippee!

Afterwards, we had a lunch date at chick-fil-a. It was so good and since Carson did such a good job at the dentist he got to eat some ice cream as a treat :)
