Daddy and I have waited a long time for this day to come. Neither one of us slept good the night before. We had a range of different emotions running through us. I think you were ready to get here as well. I had lots of contractions, you had the hiccups two times and you moved around like crazy.
You made it very hard for your mommy to get any sleep.
The time for us to head to the hospital finally came. We left at 5:00 in the morning. We kissed big brother good bye and he woke up and was very sad that we were leaving and he couldn't come with us. We told him we would see him in a few hours and he laid back down and went back to sleep.

After checking in, we made our way to our room.
All ready to go. The night nurse we had was so nice. She started my IV and thankfully she only had to stick me once. They hooked me up to the monitor and you did not like that.
It is getting closer for us to finally meet you. We can't wait.
Daddy all ready to go.
When we heard your cry for the first time it was wonderful. That is the best sound a mommy and daddy can hear. You are perfect in every way.
You were born on July 25 at 8:07 am. Your apgar's were 8/9. You weighed 7 pounds 2 oz and 17 1/2 inches long.
You cried and cried, but when mommy and daddy starting talking to you, you calmed down immediately.
Oh how I love you. You are so pretty.
Big brother meeting you for the very first time. He wasn't too sure about you at first. He didn't want to touch you, but he loved looking at you.
I was so happy to see Carson.
It was a very emotional day. Daddy picked out the perfect pearl bracelet to give to Sarah and he wrote her a letter and it was the sweetest thing in the whole wide world. She is very blessed to have such a good daddy.
Sarah gave Carson a Super Hero Big Brother Book. The book has both their names in it and it talks about how the big brother looks after his little sister. So sweet! He loved it.
It even came with a super hero medal.
We were able to watch Sarah get her first bath. She loved getting her hair washed and brushed.
Isn't she just the cutest thing you have ever seen?
Carson holding her for the first time. It is so sweet seeing how much he loves and cares for her.
How sweet is this?
He loves giving her hugs and kisses.
All my beautiful flowers. The single rose in the middle is from Carson to Sarah.
Mommy and daddy are so blessed to have you be a part of our family. God has blessed us with a healthy, sweet girl. We love you so much.
Happy Birthday Sarah!
