Carson's First Soccer Game

Carson has been looking forward to playing soccer and being on a team for over a year. He was so excited to FINALLY be able to play tonight. He looked so cute in with his cleats and shinguards. I was hoping he would get his jersey tonight, but he will get it next week.

There were so many kids signed up to play so it was kind of crazy at first trying to figure out where we were suppose to be and what we were suppose to be doing. They had practice first that lasted about an hour. During practice, we discovered two of his classmates from school were on his same team. He had so much fun hanging out with Brody and Aiden.

Some of his moves he was practicing before his game.

During practice, he learned two new moves and some basic information about soccer. I think he was a little overwhelmed. By the end of practice, he was very tired and complained that his feet hurt. I wasn't sure he was going to even want to play after practice.

So tired after practice.

They divided the kids up and did 3 on 3. The coach asked who wanted to play first and Carson's hand shot up in the air. He LOVED playing the game much more than practicing. He was on the white team and at one point he saw that there were only two kids on the white team out on the field so he ran out to play.

He ran so fast that he fell a lot, but he would get right back up and start running again.
He even scored the first goal of the game. GO CARSON! He would wait very patiently when he couldn't get out on the field to play. They even had a half time and two kids were out there just playing around and he thought they were playing the game so he ran out to play because he thought they needed another player..haha.

Taking a break after playing soccer with daddy.

This was at the end of the game. He was telling his teammates that they all did a good job.
Not only did he score the first goal of the game, but he scored the last one too and one more in the middle of the game.

Baby sister cheered for a few minutes before she fell asleep...

So proud of Carson and so glad that he had a great time! He can't wait for next Friday to get here so he can play again.
