Carson is ONE!!

Well, our little Carson is now officially ONE!!! I can't believe a whole year has gone by already. He is getting so big and learning so many new things. We had a great time at his birthday party. My sister, Heather, was able to come up the week before to help me get everything ready for Carson's big day. I was so blessed to have her help.

Matt and I are so thankful to everyone who was able to come up and share this special time with us. Carson had a great time eating his cake and opening all his presents. He loves playing with every single one of them.

The rest of this post are just random things that has happened over the last few weeks.

Sign for more
Sign love you
Stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything
Point to his head
Point to something he wants
Throw a fit when he doesn't get his way

New Words:
Grandpa

Simple Phrases he understands:
Sit down.
Do you want off?
Do you want a snack?
Lay down.
Hand that to mama or dada.
Give kissy.

We no longer give Carson pureed food....he is eating pretty much all table food and boy does he love to eat. He absolutely LOVES watermelon. He loves pretty much any fruit and veggie, but isn't too crazy about hot dogs or turkey. I have figured out that if he isn't too crazy about a food..just add some cinnamon...boy he sure does gobble it up then. He is also a bread lover just like his mama, and loves icing just like his dada. Since he can have foods with eggs in them now..he has been introduced to pancakes and muffins...he loves it! So glad he can have something new.

Carson had his one year check-up this week. He weighs 20 lbs 4.5 oz and is 28 inches long. He had to get 3 shots this time :( The doctor said he can start having whole milk, so we are starting to transition him from formula to milk. He doesn't seem to know the difference.
