This year, we had a laid back 4th of July.
We did go to the parade. Carson had never been to a parade before and I am glad his expectations weren't too high. Our parade was pretty pitiful, but we had fun nevertheless.

After the parade, we came home and enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Matt. He smoked some chicken and let me tell you....it is the best chicken you have ever put in your mouth. He also grilled some asparagus which was wonderful. We also had some mashed potatoes and tomato, cucumber salad. So yummy!
To end the night, we woke Carson up and took him to go see fireworks.
